Getting There

By Train

The CityRail network is one of the most cost effective, reliable and convenient ways to travel around Sydney and beyond. The network covers suburban Sydney and extends to the Hunter, Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands and South Coast regions. The services begin around 4.00am - 5.00am in the morning and run till around midnight (later at some stations). After midnight, NightRide bus services operate in the Sydney suburban area. Tickets price depend of the frecuency of travel and the starting and ending station.

By Bus

On an average working day, bus services carry over 600,000 people on a network of over 300 routes. There are more than 1,900 buses. Sydney Buses provides regular bus services between the major interchanges of Sydney CBD, Wynyard, Circular Quay,Townhall, Central, North Sydney, St Leonards, Lane Cove, Epping, Macquarie Centre, Chatswood, Manly, Northern beaches, Burwood, Parramatta, Rockdale, Maroubra, Bondi Junction, Bondi Beach, Sydney Airport and many more.

Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport (SYD) is Australia's most important airport, with domestic and international filghts and is located eight kilometers away from the city centre. Most of the flights link Sydney with main cities in the world as the Asian-Pacific destinations Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok and Tokyo, also with New Zealand and the west coast of the US and Hawaii.

Getting Around

No matter if you are travelling by car, bus or train, one of the easiest way to get around Sydney is buying one of the many travel cards: multi-use tickets typically sold at a 10-20% discount.
